Final Broadcast Ratings: September 11, 2014

CBS kicked off it's first ever THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game by more than doubling up last year's premiere game, posting the best CBS primetime deliver since may of 2006 and increasing the year-to-year ratings by more than 200%.  The game is only off the Sunday night game by three million viewers, given that the west coast is still commuting home when the opening kick-off is happening.

Also premiering on the night was THE BIGGEST LOSER, scoring 5.4 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 1.8 million viewers and 30% in the demo, from last year's premiere episode. However, TBL was the highest rated program, outside of Football coverage.

FOX, ABC and CW all posted insignificant numbers, however, ABC's original episode of THE QUEST was the lowest rated program of the night, from the BIG 4 networks.

ABC - 2.4 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49

CBS - 19.3 million viewers, 6.9 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.7 million viewers, 0.2 rating in A18-49

FOX - 2.5 million viewers, 0.8 rating in A18-49

NBC - 5.0 million viewers, 1.4 rating in A18-49
