Ratings Review: MAJOR CRIMES (Season Three - Winter)

One of the stronger TNT dramas, closes out its third season on a bit of a down note. Ratings, from the summer to the winter dropped, and year-to-year, MAJOR CRIMES lost viewers.

Last year, the winter episodes drew well over four million viewers each week, usually pushing five million viewers. This year, only three of the nine episodes made it past four million viewers.

Compared to the summer episodes, viewership was down in the range of two million viewers. Those episode averaged over 5.2 million viewers. But, as it was in 2013-14, the winter episodes to dropped off from the summer, because of the increased competition from Broadcast TV.

The lone L+3 rating is showing a major bump in the viewer numbers, adding over three million viewers to the total.

For the winter session, MAJOR CRIMES averaged 3.76 million viewers and a0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. Look for a fourth season of the hit drama, this summer, on TNT.
