Ratings Review: THE NIGHT SHIFT (Season Two)

Who would have though, one year ago, that NBC's best new show of 2014-15 would be the summer medical drama from last summer? It, along with THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA, are the only two dramas still left that were introduced after the 2013-14 TV season.

For the Live+SD ratings, THE NIGHT SHIFT averaged 5.29 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 14 airings. By the Live+3 ratings, viewership rose about 1.3 million viewers and the demo climbed up to a 1.7 rating.

In the Live+7 ratings, the total viewership averaged 7.04 million viewers (+33%) and a 1.8 demo rating (+38%). The series will be back for the 2015-16 season, making another mid-season appearance.
