Final Broadcast Ratings: August 22, 2016

With the Olympics over, NBC is still able to win Monday night, as AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR is the most watched and top rated show of the evening. The competition series drew 7.0 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49, which i sup one million viewers and 25% in the demo from its last episode before the Olympics. RUNNING WILD W/BEAR GRYLLS was also up from its season premiere, from 3.2 million viewers to 4.1 million, and in the A18-49 demographic, up from a 1.1 rating to a 1.3 rating.

ABC took second place, with BACHELOR IN PARADISE posting a 1.6 demo rating and getting 5.2 million viewers. Its best numbers of the summer. However, MISTRESSES continues to sink towards the bottom of the nightly chart, doing no better than en encore of SCORPION, on CBS, in the 10 PM hour.

CBS' all encore night edged past FOX and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: TNG. The dance competition series drew just 2.6 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is near identical to the numbers just before the start of the olympic games.
