Final Broadcast Ratings: September 26, 2016

The first Presidential debate aired on multiple networks last night, including the Big 4 broadcast networks. together, the drew 45.4 million viewers (prelim numbers), a 9.9 rating in Adults 18-34 and a 13.1 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC was the top network during the debate, grabbing 16.6 million viewers and a 5.4 rating in the A18-49 demo. It helped that it had the best lead in for the debate, as THE VOICE delivered 12.1 million viewers and a 3.3 demo rating.

NBC was tops in the Debate Analysis, keeping 12.8 million viewers. CBS only retained 8.2 of its 11 million viewers and ABC was in the middle with 9.0 million viewers.

At 8 PM, DANCING WITH THE STARS was slightly up from last week's two hour program, while THE VOICE was flat, week-to-week. CBS was down from the premieres of the two comedies and FOX was also down.
