Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 02/14/2017

CBS and NBC split leadership on Valentine's Day, with NBC excelling in Adults 18-34 and 18-49, while CBS drew the most viewers and tied NBC in the A25-54 demographic. NBC's Tuesday line up was a little less powerful, as THIS IS US pulled is lowest ratings since November, drawing just 9.0 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49. CHICAGO FIRE was flat from last week's numbers.

CBS was up week-to-week, growing in viewers and all three demographic categories. The three dramas were the three most watched programs of the night and were either first or second in their respective time slots, in the demo ratings.

ABC was a weak third on the night, with only THE MIDDLE and AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE drawing any interest. Once 9 PM hit, audience levels dropped 30% and the A18-49 demo lost. Another 20% were lost at 9:30 and a few more were gone at 10 PM.

It was a bad night for FOX, as the two comedies came in 4th place, during the 8 PM hour, while BONES rose up enough to beat ABC, for third place in the 9 PM hour.
